Churu
It is an historical town of Rajasthan and
located in the midst of desert. It is adjacent to Thar Desert which
facilitates the view of shifting sands. The town of Churu is well
noticed for the buildings which are built in a grand scale and depicts
exquisite architecture. One can find many buildings in and around Churu
which are indeed much fascinating places. Colorful frescos and mural
paintings decorated these havelis. These are serves as signature of
Churu. Surana Haveli, Kanhhaiya Lal Bagla ki Haveli are the famous
havelis among all. These havelis hold several small windows.There is
another famous tourist destination is Chur Fort. The entire town is
filled with buildings, temples and religious sites. Some of the
important temples are Ganesh Temple, Balaji Babosa Temple, Marda Satil
Mandir, Salasar Balaji and Dargah of Hajarat Sabir Churu.
Places to visit
Aath Kambh Chhatri and Godia Chhatri
It
is a building of great historical significance and was constructed in
1776 on one of the Rajput cremation sites. The interiors are much
appreciated by tourists. It is worth visiting place to get amused by
architectural marvel.
Other Places
Kanhaiyalal Bagla Haveli, Malji ka Kamra, Sethani ka Johara and Surana Haveli are other well known places in Churu.
